For over 15 years, we offer the ideal place to escape from the daily rush, to enjoy, relax and linger, or simply to stay overnight on your travels. Whether you arrive as a couple, a family, a solo traveller or a group, at Domaine la Fontaine you (and after consulting also your beloved pets) are always welcome.
We offer you 5 tastefully decorated rooms in 'la maison' from 1863, 4 cosy gîtes overlooking our cosy courtyard garden and 1 separate holiday home 'Akotee', adjacent to Domaine la Fontaine. There you have your very own spacious fenced garden and private swimming pool.
Indulge in culinary delights at our table d'hôtes dinners twice a week, where we are happy to cater for any allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements. Enjoy local flavours in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Soubran, located in the south of the Charente-Maritime, close to the border with the Gironde, is the perfect gateway for all kinds of adventures. Do you like nature, the sea, hiking, cycling, motorbike trips, golfing, fishing or swimming? Would you rather go for a day of culture or history? Feel like going shopping? Or are you looking for a culinary feast: oysters, asparagus, wine, Pineau des Charentes or Cognac? You'll find it all near us, within an hour's drive. And if your car is electrical, our charging station is waiting for you!
You can do a whole lot here but you don't have to. Just relax in our pleasant garden with heated pool (June to September), have a massage in our wellness area and enjoy the serenity and panoramic views over the beautiful valley.
